Wallsend Kinship Carers are delighted to say that we may be on the cusp of a very welcome change in what kind of financial support is going to be available to our Kinship Carers.
A Kinship Carer in Plymouth, Sarah Becker has taken her local authority to court in connection with funding for SGOs and she won. As a result, all local authorities should also comply throughout the country. No doubt there will be some ‘discussion’ before this applies to all LA.
However, despite that welcome news we will also give you links to other funders below. As this is an especially ‘hot topic’ right now we hope to try and post the latest information here.
